A new Fantasy Add-on is out! Minor Effects. Cantrips for your fantasy settings!
The Sands of Gheshir is an upcoming setting, for the Savage Worlds RPG system, inspired by the Golden Age of the Arabian Peninsula with hints of Arabian Nights Tales.
You play colorful heroes seeking knowledge about the mysterious djinns, searching for the treasures of the cities of old, lost in the deep desert, fighting against the leaders of regressive city-states, or pushing the limits of the unknown by trying to master astronomy, black powder or air ballons.

The gods died thousand years ago. After a few centuries of war, it looks like order and stability are back. The desert cities prosper. The nomad clans keep an eye on the fragile peace. Hospitals are free, schools accessible to all. Patrons encourage philosophers to debate about the future of humanity. Artists paint, danse and sing the beauty of the desert. Engineers irrigate the arid plains and cool the palaces down. Explorers travel deeper beyond the dunes, looking for clues of an old forgotten civilisation (and its riches). Sorcerers study the djinns and astrologers, the stars. Meanwhile, bandits roam the dunes, pirates prey on unwise sea merchants, cultists chant about the return of the gods, power hungry thaumaturgist chain djinns to brass lamps, while renegate vizirs and assassins plot in the shadows...
